Back in July at Google I/O it was announced that Chromebooks would finally be getting Android applications and this would mean a sudden improvement in the functionality of a Chromebook.
The first applications have finally made it to Chromebooks due to Google’s App Runtime for Chrome Beta. So far there are currently only four very popular apps which are available for Chrome – Evernote, Vine, Sight Words and Duolingo – however Google is working with developers to release more.
