The latest company to jump into the 4K laptop market is now Acer, it’s no surprise though – If you take a look at the companies which produce Windows laptops, Acer will definitely be high up on the list with their budget to much more expensive systems.
The brand new notebook comes as an addition to the V Nitro Black Edition Series, with the killer feature being the 15.6-inch, 3840 x 2160 UHD display, this will result in nearly four times the amount of pixels of 1080p and an extra sharp image.
Powering all of the pixels is the 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ quad core processor, as well as the Nvidia GeForce GTX860M. This sort of power should provide plenty of headroom for not only being able to view high quality 4K footage, but also create content within intensive editing programs.
Paired with the high end processor and graphics chip, there is 16GB of memory and both a 256GB SSD, as well as a 1TB hard drive.
Acer’s V Nitro Black Edition model will be available from larger retailers such as Amazon, Newegg, Microsoft.com and Tiger Direct this month in the U.S for $1,500
