Quad Biking With The Kitvision Edge HD30W Action Cam

I typically use my smartphone to take photos and record stuff while I’m on holiday, but if you’re the kind of person who likes getting more active then using your expensive smartphone isn’t that practical (or safe).

Action cams like the Kitvision Edge HD30W are much better options for recording video. It’s easier to carry around thanks to its smaller size; it’s more versatile because it can be used in & out of water; and because it can be strapped to your body or equipment like surfboards or helmets, your hands are free to actually do the excursion!

With full HD recording capabilities, waterproof housing and a range of useful accessories, you can take this little action camera anywhere you want and capture awesome memories. This summer, while on holiday in Morocco, I took the Edge HD30W with me to record my quad biking and jet skiing excursions. Take a look at my video below!

Note: The footage in this video hasn’t been edited — they’re the raw files from the Kitvision Edge HD30W. All I did was chop & change the different clips and add some music!

Is it any good?

Taking into account the price tag — currently just under £200 on Amazon — I think the Kitvision Edge is a good buy. While most people will think of GoPro when considering action cams, their price points are a little high for a lot of people. The Kitvision Edge HD30W on the other hand delivers a good quality action camera with a bunch of accessories at for a more affordable price.

I would have liked to see crispier/sharper shots considering the camera recorded in full HD (1080p), but  overall I’ve got few complaints. The Edge HD30W is feature-packed, takes nice wide-angle photos and videos, packs the essential accessories and comes at a reasonable price.

I can’t wait to use it again on my next adventures!
