After much success with the original Snapseed application, Google have just released version 2.0 of the photo editing application for iOS and Android.
The update packs a number of new effects along with a much more visual and intuitive user interface, however Google decided to keep the same basic idea of sliding up or down to change the effect, and left or right to change the amount the image is effected.
The main highlights of the update are the:
• New tools including Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, intelligent perspective Transform, and Spot Healing
• Selectively apply filters and effects to parts of the image using the Brush tool
• Non-destructive editing via Stacks allows you to re-edit or undo any change. You can also copy edits from one image to another

Currently you are not able to download the Snapseed 2.0 update on the Apple iTunes Store, since they are only displaying a preview of the updated app.
Some Android users may be in luck and can download it straight off of the Google Play Store, however they are doing the roll out method of updating the app. If you can’t currently download the update, follow our tutorial on how to install the APK file here for Android.
