Ministry Of Sound Launch New Audio Range In ‘The Box’

Ministry of Sound, the world-famous nightclub and music brand, this week launched its Ministry of Sound Audio Range, featuring a host of premium audio devices including portable wireless speakers, Wi-Fi connected multi-room home speakers and high-quality headphones.

The new range of audio products have been developed in collaboration with the sound engineers and DJs from ‘The Box’, the Ministry of Sound’s main room. The products have been developed from scratch, drawing on the brand’s passion for music and wide expertise in sound production.

There are five wireless speakers in the range, and four pairs of in-ear and on-ear headphones. The concept behind the new products is to allow consumers to bring a piece of the club’s legendary sound quality into their lives, whether at home or on the move.

Of the more exciting things to look out for are some potentially Sonos busting Wi-Fi connected multi-room speaker packages at competitive prices. The wireless Bluetooth headphones are going to be interesting to hear too, given the grip on the market that the likes of ‘Beats’ has. This concept is further enhanced by the wireless speakers’ interface, which features one-touch streaming of the live club feed every Friday and Saturday night. I cannot wait!

Products are expected to come to the market next month (June 2015), with headphones prices ranging from £39.99 for in ears to £149.99 for Bluetooth on ears. Speakers are priced from £79.99 for portables to £299.99 for the multiroom Wi-Fi products.

I am mid-forties, married with young children, but retired from work through a severe stroke that has left me restricted in movement but with plenty of time to listen, watch, opine and review. My interests include, in no particular order, music, streaming and hi-resolution music, books and film. My latest interest centres around exploring vinyl on my hi-fi.
